Job summary

Savista is seeking a Supervisor of Patient Eligibility to lead a team delivering accurate, timely eligibility services essential to revenue cycle performance. You will balance your own patient screenings with team leadership, drive workflow improvements, and ensure compliance across facilities.

You will oversee client relationships, SLAs, and performance while traveling regularly to designated sites. This role combines leadership with hands-on eligibility work in a fast-paced healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare eligibility, financial counseling, or case management.
• At least 2 years in people management overseeing teams of 5-10 people.
• Familiarity with state and federal assistance programs such as Texas Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security Disability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to de-escalate and/or resolve complex patient or operational issues.
• Travel: Regular travel to facilities within assigned market region is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for two major clients in the Reno, NV region, managing $600k+ annually in revenue.
• Own day-to-day client relationships, SLA adherence, quality standards, and performance expectations.
• Prepare, review, and present weekly client meetings and input on monthly/quarterly results.
• Identify service risks and performance gaps, advising senior leadership on improvements.
• Serve as escalation point for complex cases and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership, government agencies, and departments to ensure seamless processes.
• Travel regularly to assigned facilities to support multiple locations.
