Job summary

Community Health Network's Sr Patient Care Tech - Observation at the Community Heart & Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support RNs with direct patient care, monitor vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and help with safe transport and meal service.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, computer literacy for documentation, and strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use a computer for documentation and work-related purposes.
• Excellent written, verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates accountability for own actions.

• Three months of clinical experience or CNA license OR currently enrolled in Nursing school.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, elimination, bed making, and vital signs.
• Transport patients and patient-related materials safely and timely.
• Greet and orient patients to the care area.
• Provide meal service and feeding assistance.
• Collaborate with the health care team to deliver care.
• Perform additional care tasks as directed.
