Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners, a leader in revenue cycle management, seeks a Senior Patient Access Specialist to manage admitting duties for patients and support cross-functional processes across the organization.

The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and compliance with policies while supporting ongoing staff development and on-call responsibilities to ensure smooth patient access operations.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Associate degree or Equivalent Experience.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle including admission, billing, payments, and denials.
• Knowledge of Health Insurance requirements. Knowledge of medical terminology or CPT or procedure codes.

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity or compliance checks.
• Collect insurance information and process physician orders with an overlay tool and provide excellent customer service.
• Develop training materials and programs for new hires and provide continuing education to associates.
• Develop staff schedules within the patient access department and participate in on-call coverage.
