The position requires accurate data entry, clear patient communication and coordination with clinical teams, plus insurance verification and payment processing.

Responsibilities

• Meets with patient and/or caregiver to exchange information and provide visit instructions.
• Communicates with referring providers and departments to coordinate scheduling and information exchange.
• Verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certification/authorization as needed.
• Determines and accepts payments (co-pays/deductibles) or refers to financial counselors; enters data accurately.
• Maintains quick, decisive action in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
