Responsibilities

• Meets with patient or caregiver to collect information, explains visit, and addresses questions.
• Coordinates with referring providers and clinical departments to schedule accordingly.
• Verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certifications/authorizations as needed.
• Collects co-pays/deductibles or refers to financial counselors; ensures accurate data entry in registration system.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and independent work in a fast-paced setting.
