Qualifications

• Meets with patient/caregiver to exchange information and explain visit instructions.
• Communicates with referring providers, clinical departments, and other personnel to schedule appointments.

Responsibilities

• Verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certification/authorization as needed.
• Determines and collects required payments (co-pays/deductibles) or directs to financial counselors.
• Enters demographic, billing, and clinical information accurately in the registration system.
• Works in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and sound judgment.
