Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Senior Patient Access Specialist for an onsite role at Mercy - Fairfield Hospital in Fairfield, OH. This full-time 3rd shift position (9pm-5:30am) requires on-call and weekend rotation and offers bonus incentives, tuition reimbursement and comprehensive benefits.

You will manage admitting duties, verify eligibility, collect insurance information, pre-register accounts, and ensure accurate MRN assignment while delivering excellent patient service and meeting

Qualifications

• CHAA or CRCR certification required (Company Paid).
• 2–3 years of experience in patient access or a leadership role.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle, admissions, billing, payments and denials.

Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for all patients at the hospital.
• Meet regulatory compliance requirements and organizational goals.
• Handle POS collections and patient education materials.
• Audit accounts and provide statistical data to leadership.
• Pre-register patient accounts and obtain demographic/insurance information.
• Explain consent forms and distribute required forms.
