You will be part of a high-performing team creating exceptional patient experiences, supporting patient calls and inquiries under the supervision of a registered nurse and/or licensed physician. The role involves providing professional, courteous assistance to our customers.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • High school diploma preferred or 1+ year of related experience
  • 1+ year of customer service and PC skills, preferably in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in healthcare customer service, typing, scheduling applications (preferred)
  • Inbound call center experience (highly desired)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and warmly with customers
  • Positive customer service behaviors
  • Medical terminology knowledge (preferred)

Key duties include:

  1. Scheduling appointments accurately, asking questions to meet patient needs, consulting clinicians if necessary.
  2. Verifying patient coverage and eligibility, completing paperwork, updating records, and assisting with MyChart portal questions.
  3. Answering calls per departmental procedures, routing calls appropriately, and documenting interactions thoroughly.
  4. Providing comprehensive documentation of outreach and conversations in the Electronic Health Record.
  5. Performing other duties as assigned.

For remote work, internet must be via cable broadband or fiber optic with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload speeds.
