Job summary

Finnegan seeks a Senior Patent Paralegal with deep expertise in U.S. and international patent law to manage filings, deadlines, and related correspondence. The role supports attorneys, monitors deadlines, drafts documents, and processes invoices.

Two shifts are offered: 9:00–17:30 or 11:00–19:30, with flexibility on the later shift. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least ten years of patent prosecution experience in a professional services environment and strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years patent prosecution experience.
• Expert knowledge of USPTO and international patent law rules and procedures.
• Ability to navigate USPTO and international patent office websites for filings and inquiries.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and patent-related document preparation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates U.S. and international patent filings with attorney input as needed.
• Monitors docket and deadlines to ensure timely actions.
• Drafts client and attorney correspondence and filings.
• Prepares USPTO filings, office actions, and associated documents.
• Maintains client and firm databases, generates reports, and oversees time entries.
