Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant technical and legal work experience including engineering or scientific work, with 2+ years in the patent area.
• Familiarity with patent process: prosecution, searching, and portfolio/landscape analysis.
• Experience using AI-based patent analysis tools and handling large datasets for insights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patent landscape analyses responsive to client and business needs.
• Assess patent portfolio against technical developments and industry landscape.
• Support litigation, licensing, and M&A through third-party patent assessments.
• Assist invention review by evaluating disclosures and obtaining technical input.
• Use AI-based patent analysis tools to support search, analysis, and portfolio evaluation.
• Collaborate with patent attorneys and engineering teams to evaluate inventions and support patent strategy.
• Prepare clear written analyses and communicate findings to stakeholders.
