Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or academia. Interns and co-ops will be considered.
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy predictive models and monitoring tools for real-time oversight of vaccine development and manufacturing processes.
• Build predictive models and soft sensors for critical process parameters and quality attributes.
• Analyze data from spectroscopic and sensor-based monitoring tools (Raman, NIR, IR, UV-Vis) across online, in-line, and at-line settings.
• Apply multivariate analysis, machine learning, and statistics to strengthen process understanding and product quality.
• Partner with process development, manufacturing, analytical sciences, automation, and digital teams to implement solutions in development and manufacturing.
• Support process characterization, scale-up, technology transfer, validation, and ongoing process verification through advanced data analysis.
• Help shape strategy and best practices for real-time process monitoring across vaccine platforms.
