Job summary

Stanchfield Baptist Church in rural Minnesota is seeking a full-time senior pastor who will shepherd the congregation through expository preaching and compassionate leadership. The role emphasizes verse-by-verse teaching, relationship building with families and youth, and active community engagement.

The candidate should have a Bible-related degree and a willingness to pursue a Master’s degree, with 3–5 years of ministry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Full-time male senior pastor
• Demonstrates mature relationship with Jesus Christ
• Committed to the Great Commission and preaching/teaching the Bible
• Expository, verse-by-verse preaching style
• Willing to live in the parsonage on church property
• Bible-related degree with willingness to pursue a Master’s degree
• 3–5 years ministry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Preach, teach, and shepherd the congregation with biblical integrity.
• Build relationships with families, kids, and teens in the community.
• Lead worship planning, discipleship, and outreach initiatives.
• Collaborate with nearby churches and pastors.
• Provide leadership to the church staff and leadership team.
