New Life Christian Alliance in Whittier, CA, seeks a Senior Pastor to provide spiritual and organizational leadership for a bilingual, multi-generational congregation. The pastor will guide vision, teach, encourage, and mobilize the church to grow in discipleship, evangelism, and community engagement.
Responsibilities include casting leadership, communicating God’s Word, mentoring lay leaders, pastoring families, and overseeing outreach and pastoral care.

We are “One Church in two languages.” The English congregation is multi-ethnic and multi-generational, with approximately one-third Chinese, one-third other Asian ethnicities, and one-third other non-Asian ethnicities. The Chinese congregation consists of ethnically Chinese, Mandarin-speaking immigrants and is also multi-generational.
The congregation's strengths include faithfulness, genuine love, service, generosity—particularly toward missions—and a strong biblical foundation. Members care for one another in practical ways, and the healthy relationship between the English and Chinese congregations is viewed as a meaningful expression of unity in Christ.
The church desires continued growth in spiritual depth and biblical maturity, leadership development and member engagement, intentional investment in the next generation, evangelism, and community involvement. The Senior Pastor will serve as the primary spiritual shepherd and leader of our diverse, bilingual church family, guiding people of all ages as they grow in their relationship with Christ. Through prayer, teaching, encouragement, and collaborative leadership, the pastor will help foster a culture of discipleship, equip believers to serve and lead, reach others with the Gospel, and strengthen the church’s presence and ministry within the broader community.
