J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Parts Technician in Winchester, VA. The role mentors teammates and oversees inventory, audits, and parts shipments to keep stock levels adequate. It may involve outdoor work, varied shifts, and overtime, with full-time attendance expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent and up to a 2 years of direct experience and/or training.
• Ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage parts sales by forecasting inventory turnover and replenishment.
• Observe all Company safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered work environment free of trash and hazards.
• Ship and receive shop tools requiring repair or replacement.
• Retain/ship parts and maintain JBHT information systems of parts and fuel.
• Stock inbound parts to proper storage location and update information systems.
• Regularly gather management reports of parts usage, sales and data.
• Provide administrative support by copying and typing correspondence.
• Perform daily full-time technician tasks and parts manager duties as needed.
