Mesa Verde National Park, CO, and Yucca House National Monument are seeking a Superintendent who will lead high-performing teams, steward resources, and engage with Congress, agencies, Tribal Nations, and local communities.

This permanent, full-time Park Service leadership role requires strategic vision, partnership building, and accountability to uphold the NPS mission while directing planning, operations, and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the full range of planning, organizing, development, control, and evaluation of operations and management programs for Mesa Verde National Park and Yucca House National Monument.
• Represent the National Park Service in communications with members of Congress, federal and local officials, Tribal Nations, and the public.
• Oversee natural and cultural resource protection programs and manage visitor and resource protection functions.
