Job summary

Six Flags Corporate seeks a Corporate Merchandise Product Developer to shape product strategy and drive results for an assigned category, including product innovation and co-branded opportunities. You will manage purchasing, development, sourcing, testing, approvals, quality, and ongoing maintenance of the product line.

This role supports park strategies by aligning with Category Planning on margins and assortments, and collaborating with Park Merchandise Operations on visual merchandising.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or 2–3 years of related experience in product development/buying.
• 3+ years of product development or buying experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Category Planning and Park Retail Operations to develop annual merchandising strategy and business plans for assigned categories.
• Drive product innovation and co-branded collaborations throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead the end-to-end product development process from ideation to launch and manage supplier relationships.
• Develop and maintain product assortments, ensure timing and approvals, and monitor quality and costs.
• Identify market trends and opportunities; translate insights into strategic product opportunities.
• Coordinate with corporate procurement to negotiate supplier terms and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide visual merchandising guidance for developed product assortments and maintain alignment with park experiences.
• Travel to parks and trade shows to observe trends andSource new product ideas.
