Job summary

The Public Service Commission of South Carolina is seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to join our team in Columbia, SC. The role involves preparing and processing official orders, supporting senior counsel, and maintaining timely communications with outside parties in accordance with PSC policies.

Candidates should have a college-level paralegal degree (or higher) with at least two years of substantive legal work, and must possess a paralegal certificate.

Qualifications

• Experience performing delegated, substantive legal work.
• Ability to draft clear, concise orders and reports.
• Proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis and government databases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, draft and process official orders for review and approval.
• Perform administrative duties and prepare weekly documents for senior counsel.
• Ensure timely PSC responses to outside correspondence and complainants.
