SBA Communications is seeking a Senior Paralegal, Mergers & Acquisitions (Real Estate) to support real estate transactions related to M&A. The role involves reviewing leases, due diligence, and organizing closing documents for SBA's worldwide portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of real estate paralegal experience, with M&A exposure and a Certified Paralegal credential. Proficiency in English is required and Spanish is preferred; remote work is not indicated.

Your Next Career Opportunity – Senior Paralegal, Mergers & Acquisitions (Real Estate)

• Prepare (or assist in the preparation of) real estate transactions related to M&A contracts, title clearing instruments and closing documents, such as M&A contracts or transfer documents.
• Review and analyze ground and tenant leases and contracts in connection with estoppel preparation in order to identify possible issues within the specific terms.
• Review, analyze and organize due diligence.
• Maintain the deal tracker with up to date statuses.
• Correspond with third party vendors to obtain additional information.
• Follow up with various sellers, ground lessors, tenants, vendors, customers and outside counsel on a variety of legal matters.
• Coordinate dissemination of documents to various departments within SBA.
• Preparation of letters, memos, and reports.
• Maintain transaction files by ensuring items are filed correctly in the online data folders and ensure files are complete.
• Frequently communicate and collaborate with Senior Management, as needed, in order to accomplish tasks.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements

• Language requirements: English (required), Spanish (preferred)
• Associate's Degree Bachelor's degree preferred;
• and 5-10 years of real estate paralegal experience.
• Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) preferred.
• Previous telecommunications and supervisory experience is a plus.
• Certified Paralegal (or equivalent) required.
