You will draft, review, and file legal documents, manage case files and calendars, and support attorneys in trial preparation with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm, a paralegal certificate or ABA-approved program, and strong research skills using Westlaw or LexisNexis.

Qualifications

• 3+ years paralegal experience in a law firm
• Paralegal certificate or ABA-approved program preferred
• Proficiency with Westlaw or LexisNexis
• Strong knowledge of CA state and federal court procedures and e-filing
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
• Professional, proactive, independent with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence
• Manage and organize case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
• Coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel on case matters
• Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including exhibit organization and deposition summaries
• File documents with state and federal courts, including e-filing
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior paralegal staff and legal assistants
