Job summary

Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley, P.A. is seeking an experienced Sr. Paralegal in the West Palm Beach area to support personal injury and medical malpractice cases.

You will handle client intakes, organize records, and assist with discovery, motions, and deposition designations, all while managing a heavy workload with strict deadlines. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of related experience, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with trial preparation.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in Personal Injury and/or Medical Malpractice cases.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) is required.
• Must be familiar with trial preparation, preparing exhibits and deposition designations, and analyzing/summarizing medical records.

Responsibilities

Education, Qualifications, and Certifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Paralegal certification strongly preferred.

Experience

• Ten or more years of experience in Personal Injury and/or Medical Malpractice cases, or as an insurance adjustor.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) required.
• Must be familiar with trial preparation, preparing exhibits and deposition designations, and analyzing/summarizing medical records.
• FileVine experience preferred.
