Job summary

First American is seeking a Senior Paralegal for our Philadelphia or Pittsburgh office in a hybrid work arrangement. You will support the closing process for commercial real estate transactions, review closing documents, and assist underwriters as part of our Commercial Title team.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of ALTA title forms, title commitments, and real estate concepts, with strong organizational skills and client-service focus. Bachelor's or Paralegal Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ALTA title insurance policy forms, commitments, endorsements, and coverages, including Owner's and Loan Policies.
• Ability to review title searches, commitments, surveys, and supporting title documentation with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support the closing process of commercial real estate transactions.
• Review commercial real estate closing documents.
• Prepare and revise title commitments and pro forma policies.
• Assemble and calculate pricing information for closing.
• Communicate recording information and prepare title policy products.
