Qualifications

• 10+ years of paralegal experience in complex litigation.
• Extensive experience with product liability, mass tort, and class actions.
• Prior lead paralegal or management of complex cases and legal teams preferred.
• CA-based paralegals must meet applicable CA Paralegal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex cases and matters with effective systems and workflows.
• Coordinate across attorneys, clients, outside and opposing counsel, paralegals, and vendors.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, summaries for attorney review.
• Support complex product liability, mass tort, and class actions matters.
• Prepare for document collections, witness interviews, hearings, depositions, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Apply advanced knowledge of federal, state, local rules and filing requirements.
• Lead paralegal, oversee work and coordinate projects with attorneys.
• Manage case staffing, outside vendor relationships, and resources within budget.
• Develop and manage case and client budgets; monitor resources.
• Oversee electronic case-management tools used with outside counsel and vendors.
• Develop checklists and processes to improve efficiency across the practice group.
• Mentor associates and paralegals; provide training to legal teams.
