Position Summary
This position reports to attorneys of the Legal Department and is responsible for supporting the alternative credit strategies (private credit, direct lending, specialty lending and others) including but not limited to working documentation associated with loan transaction closings. The role requires the ability to prioritize competing priorities and projects as well as working well in a team environment. Some projects may be time sensitive. We are seeking a team member with extensive loan and transaction experience, who can take initiatives and exercise appropriate judgment. Familiarity with loan transaction documentation, investment management, or other financial services preferred. Experience with US, Cayman Islands and Luxembourg fund structures is a plus.
Essential Duties
Work with the deal team and legal managing portfolio loan closings and maintenance, including communication with loan administrators and borrowers
- Assist with KYC processes for borrowers
- Manage legal comments to non disclosure agreements and releases.
- Assist with form notifications, amendments and assignment agreements
- Support fund board meetings and 15(c) processes
- Assist with drafting and filing regulatory filings
- Assist with Legal Department projects arising from time to time
- Complete other projects and responsibilities as directed by the attorneys of the Legal Department
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including experience working in corporate law firms or in-house legal departments
- Strong written communication
- Certified as Paralegal
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

- Strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Self-starter, roll-up-the-sleeves work ethic
Desired Qualifications
- Previous credit, investment management or other financial services experience
- Experience working with Bridger and iManage
Estimated Compensation:
Base Salary: For NY based position, the base salary range is $125k to $140k. This is an anticipated range only.
Other Compensation: Eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus
