Job description

Compensation: $60,000 – $85,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Firm Type: Corporate, Tax & Advanced Tax Strategies Law Firm

Our client is opening a new Texas office for a well-established, fast-growing law firm with a strong national presence. While the Bedford office is a new location, the firm itself is not a startup — it is a highly successful, people-first organization with proven systems, strong leadership, and a clear long-term growth plan.

This role is ideal for a strong, experienced paralegal who is excited about being part of something from the ground up and is comfortable wearing multiple hats in the early stages. As the office grows, this position will evolve and specialize, with long-term opportunities for advancement.

The Senior Paralegal will serve as the foundational administrative and paralegal support for the Bedford office. Initially, this individual will support attorneys in corporate and tax matters while also handling essential office setup and day-to-day operational needs.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone who is resourceful, proactive, and comfortable in an “all-hands-on-deck” environment. Attitude, adaptability, and cultural fit are just as important as experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct paralegal support to attorneys in corporate and tax practices
  • Assist with:
  • Entity formations and maintenance
  • Contracts, agreements, and transactional documentation
  • Tax-related documentation and client coordination
  • Prepare, revise, proofread, and organize legal documents
  • Coordinate filings, deadlines, and document management
  • Communicate with clients professionally and confidently
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical files
Office Management & Operations (Initial / Transitional Focus)
  • Support the launch and day-to-day operations of the Bedford office
  • Coordinate office setup, vendors, deliveries, and equipment
  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for office-related needs
  • Assist with administrative processes and general office organization
  • Help establish workflows and procedures as the office grows
  • Collaborate with leadership and headquarters to ensure smooth integration

Note: As the office grows, dedicated administrative staff will be added, allowing this role to transition toward a more specialized senior paralegal or expanded operational role, depending on strengths and interests.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in corporate and/or tax law
  • Experience in a law firm environment required
  • Comfortable supporting multiple attorneys and practice areas
  • Willing to take on office management responsibilities as needed
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a “no drama” mindset
  • Interested in long-term growth and being part of a growing office
Why Join This Firm
  • Strong, people-first culture with no tolerance for toxic behavior
  • Established firm with consistent year-over-year growth
  • Clear long-term vision and commitment to the Texas market
  • Opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing office
  • Excellent benefits package, including:
  • 100% employer-paid medical premiums for non-attorneys
  • Employer-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Student loan assistance program
  • Additional voluntary benefits
  • Leadership that values transparency, development, and internal mobility
Work Model
  • Initial onboarding may include brief in-office training at the firm’s headquarters
  • Hybrid/remote work possible during office build-out
  • Fully onsite in Bedford once the office is operational
