Job summary

RealPage is seeking a Sr. Network Security Engineer to design, deploy, and support enterprise network security across on‑prem and cloud environments.

You will specialize in Palo Alto Firewalls, Prisma Access, and NGFW architecture while integrating with Cisco, F5, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. The role involves architecture, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure high availability and security across global RealPage infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of expert level experience with Palo Alto Firewalls on-prem and NGFW in cloud, including Panorama, Global Protect, and Prisma
• 5+ years of Hands-on expertise with Cisco and F5 Systems, AWS or GCP
• 10 years of progressive network engineering experience in enterprise and data-center environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and act as SME for Palo Alto Firewalls and management platform, focusing on improvements and automation
• Engineer solutions utilizing Cisco, F5 and AWS/GCP stack
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network platform
• Perform in-depth application assessments and document changes required to onboard apps into RealPage systems
• Determine operational weaknesses and present cost-efficient execution plans
• Interact with teams to provide escalation support during outages and customer issues
• Work to completion all projects, delivering results on time, within specs and budget
• Actively monitor real-time network conditions and improve monitoring/reporting
• Travel up to 5% as needed
