Job summary

ERM is seeking a highly motivated Principal Technical Consultant, Paleontologist, to join our global consulting firm and lead paleontological and cultural resource projects. This full-time role is based in an ERM US office, with responsibilities spanning technical leadership, mentorship, and client relationships across North America.

You will guide investigations, provide QA/QC on reports, and mentor staff while ensuring NEPA compliance and project excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Paleontology or related earth sciences.
• 8+ years of professional paleontological experience.
• Experience leading assessments and agency consultation.
• Strong NEPA understanding and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for paleontological and cultural resource projects.
• Manage project teams, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
