Job summary

ERM is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant, Paleontologist, to lead paleontological and cultural resource projects in North America. Based in a US ERM office, you will provide technical leadership, mentor staff, and support business development while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality deliverables.

You will collaborate with archaeologists and cultural resources specialists on multidisciplinary projects, manage teams and budgets, and act as a senior author or reviewer on

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Paleontology, Geology, Earth Sciences, Biology, Anthropology, Archaeology, or related discipline.
• 8+ years (10+ preferred) of professional experience related to paleontological resources.
• Experience leading assessments, surveys, monitoring programs and agency consultation.
• Strong understanding of NEPA and environmental review requirements.
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
