Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of painting experience in a construction environment.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in painting.
• Familiar with paint types, finishes, color harmony and matching.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting assignments to enhance City facilities and equipment.
• Replace wall coverings and finish drywall surfaces as needed.
• Water blast and sand blast to remove graffiti and prepare surfaces.
• Paint interiors/exteriors, pumps, valves, and outdoor surfaces.
• Operate brushes, rollers, and sprayers; transport tools between sites.
• Sand, varnish, and restore gym floors, parking lots, and courts.
• Clean work area and maintain paint supplies; adhere to safety rules.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
