Job summary

New Engen is seeking a seasoned Paid Social Lead to own strategy across high-spend client accounts, primarily on Meta, with expansion to other platforms. You will drive performance, optimize campaigns, and articulate insights to clients.

You’ll manage platform relationships (Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Snap), lead testing roadmaps, and collaborate with analytics, creative, and media teams to deliver integrated strategies. Hybrid role with in-office days in Seattle or NYC.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of paid social experience, with deep expertise in Meta
• Hands-on experience with at least one additional platform (TikTok, Reddit, Snap, or similar)
• Proven ability to lead strategy on complex or high-spend accounts
• Strong analytical skills, with comfort working in Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience presenting performance and recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution when needed
• Curiosity and willingness to test new channels, tools, and approaches
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure where it doesn’t exist
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
• Location requirement: hybrid role based in Seattle or Brooklyn (NYC), with ~2 days/week in-office.

Responsibilities

• Lead paid social strategy across high-spend, complex client accounts and drive performance across Meta with expansion into additional channels.
• Own platform relationships and translate platform insights into actionable client strategies.
• Drive testing roadmaps across creative, audience, and channel expansion; pilot new platforms and tools.
• Be client-facing and present performance insights, recommendations, and strategic direction to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Support new business and pitches by contributing to audits and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with analytics, creative, and other media teams to deliver integrated strategies.
