Overview

Optomi, in partnership with a leading healthcare organization, is looking for a Senior PACS Analyst to support and optimize medical imaging workflows. The Senior PACS Analyst is responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PACS systems and related imaging applications, ensuring seamless diagnostic radiology operations. This role bridges clinical workflows with technical expertise, collaborating with IT teams and clinical staff to enhance imaging operations. The position will also involve exposure to upgrade cycles, cloud migrations, and hanging/display protocol improvements.

Location: Hybrid in Dallas 1x per week (Wednesdays in office)

Salary: $125K per year

Required Qualifications
  • Strong PACS/clinical background
  • Technical expertise with servers, workstations, and troubleshooting
  • Effective communication skills with clinicians and radiologists
  • Experience with Sectra PACS (preferred, but not required)
  • Exposure to project work, including upgrade cycles and migrations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Clinical knowledge (e.g., ex-X-ray techs who can 'speak the lingo' to radiologists)
  • Project exposure (e.g., upgrade cycles, migrations, agile work)
Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PACS system issues to ensure uninterrupted operations
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize imaging workflows
  • Support and maintain 70–80 imaging applications, including AI and third-party tools
