Position Overview

The Sr. Packaging Project Manager will lead projects related to packaging for yogurt, cheeses, and powders, from design to implementation, supporting plant operations and quality. The role involves collaboration with Operations, R&D, and other departments, focusing on optimizing production systems and processes.

The position can be based in Londonderry NH, Buffalo NY, Nampa ID, Tullare CA, or Chicago IL, with travel up to 50% to various domestic and international sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop drawings, scopes, budgets, and timelines for projects.
• Source vendors, negotiate quotes, and manage project costs within budgets.
• Coordinate project reviews and communicate with stakeholders.
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Lead development of annual capital budgets.
• Travel as needed to project sites.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
• 5+ years managing capital expenditure projects, preferably in the food or dairy industry.
• Minimum 3 years USDA or FDA regulated plant experience.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel macros, AutoCAD, and P&ID drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and travel readiness.

Salary Range

$115,000.00 - $140,000.00
