As a Senior Operator II, supporting the packaging department, you will be trusted to work on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing packaging machinery/equipment in Sinking Spring, PA.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Monitoring, evaluating, and adjusting processes or packaging equipment to maximize quality and efficiency

• Operating equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes

• Completing the batch records and associated documentation

• Working in a coordinated, computerized manufacturing environment

• Performing tasks per applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards and ensuring tasks are completed in compliance with all regulatory requirements

• May participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to improve program quality, cost, and scheduling

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

• Work Hours: Work hours: 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM EST – 10:00 PM EST

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Previous machine operator experience is highly preferred
