PDI is seeking a Senior Engineer in Woodcliff Lake, NJ to lead packaging development from concept through commercialization, under guidance from senior leadership. You will apply CCIT, ISO 11607, and USP standards, collaborate across functions, and help mentor less experienced engineers.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, cross-functional teamwork, and targeted improvements in product performance, cost, and regulatory compliance. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of product development and R&D packaging experience.
• Experience in packaging development for FDA-regulated products.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Own assigned technical work from concept to commercialization.
• Contribute to packaging roadmap and ensure data integrity.
• Design and execute research with internal teams and partners.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge on projects.
• Analyze data and apply statistics to inform decisions.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders.
