Cella, a Randstad digital company, is seeking a Packaging / Senior Packaging Designer on a contract basis in Framingham, MA. The role focuses on developing innovative packaging and branding for global markets, collaborating with product development, Buyers, suppliers, and creative teams to deliver high-quality, trend-forward designs.

Ideal candidates will have 5-8 years of design experience, a design degree, and strong leadership with Adobe Creative Suite proficiency.

Qualifications

• BFA or related degree in design preferred.
• 5-8 years design related experience.
• Proven results managing multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Guides stakeholders through the design process while upholding brand integrity.
• Strong leadership and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the creation of trend forward brand packaging across home categories.
• Partners with product development and merchandising to fill lifestyle needs by product category.
• Influences design decisions with Sr. Product Development Managers and trend teams.
• Ensures quality of vendor packaging via established approval process and deadlines.
• Directs brand packaging for boxes, hangtags, labels, etc.
• Leads designers, freelancers, interns and contractors in design and content creation.
• Manages end-to-end process from concept to shelf with approvals before press.
• Coordinates with product development and regulatory teams during design.
