Job summary

Mesabi Metallics Company LLC is seeking an experienced Package Coordinator to manage engineering and equipment packages for the DRI and Integrated Steel Plant project in the United States. Reporting to the Engineering Lead, the role covers from engineering and procurement through fabrication, delivery, construction support, and commissioning.

You will coordinate with engineering disciplines, procurement, construction, and vendors to ensure safety, on-schedule delivery, and budget compliance,

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating engineering, equipment, or construction packages on large industrial capital projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and maintain schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned equipment and engineering packages from design through commissioning.
• Serve as primary contact for package vendors, engineering teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, and deliverables to align with project objectives.
• Support technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews.
• Ensure turnover packages and drawings meet project requirements and safety standards.
