Job summary

Einstein in New York seeks 2 Principal Faculty for a new Physician Assistant Program. The positions are full-time, 1.0 FTE each, and involve curriculum development, accreditation activities, student advising, and teaching didactic and clinical skills.

You will report to the Program Director and collaborate with the Senior Associate Dean, contributing to all aspects of the accreditation process and program maintenance as the inaugural leadership team helps enroll the first cohort in Fall 2028.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Must hold a current license as a Physician Assistant in New York State.
• Must be a Certified Physician Assistant with no less than five years of clinical experience.
• Has knowledge of and commitment to the physician assistant profession.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison to teaching faculty for college resources, textbooks, teaching materials and course scheduling.
• Identify need for and help acquire adjunct instructors.
• Participate in all program committees.
• Participate in AECOM committees as appropriate.
• Serves as a faculty advisor for students.
• Participate in other program responsibilities such as curriculum development and student evaluation.
• Participate in the duties necessary for program maintenance of accreditation.
• Other responsibilities as determined by the program director.
