Job summary

OWM Integrative Wellness in Buffalo, NY seeks a Senior Physician Assistant to lead and manage medically complex patients within Integrative Medicine and Integrative Oncology. You will collaborate with a physician, organize complex clinical information, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and execute individualized treatment plans.

The role includes supporting active cancer treatment and survivorship, with growth in integrative medicine, oncology, and chronic disease management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State.
• DEA registration or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate and manage new and established patients within scope of practice.
• Manage a busy outpatient schedule with high-quality care.
• Review lab tests, imaging, oncology records, and specialist consultations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans with supervising physician.
• Coordinate Integrative oncology care and supportive therapies.
• Educate patients on medications, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and expectations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up.
