Job summary

Drexel University’s PA Program invites applications for a non-tenure-track faculty role at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Clinical Professor. This 12-month position encompasses didactic and clinical teaching, student mentoring, assessment, curriculum development, and service.

The successful candidate will contribute to student success and interprofessional education within CNHP, collaborating across health professions to advance PA education and the profession.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant (PA) required.
• Minimum of 1+ years of teaching or education experience.
• Certified Physician Assistant with PA education experience.
• Active Pennsylvania licensure or eligible.
• Excellence in classroom and/or clinical teaching.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in PA education.
• Knowledge of ARC-PA accreditation standards.
• Evidence of supporting student achievement and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Program Director and faculty to support PA education and student success.
• Plan and implement curricular initiatives and program improvements.
• Align curriculum with ARC-PA standards and NCCPA blueprint.
• Serve as course director for didactic and clinical courses.
• Deliver engaging lectures and laboratory sessions and create learning materials.
• Assess student learning and progression and monitor competencies.
• Provide academic support and remedial instruction as needed.
• Advise and mentor students across cohorts and supervise graduate projects.
• Liaise with clinical education partners and develop new sites.
