Drexel University’s Physician Assistant Program invites applications for a 12-month, non-tenure-track faculty position at Assistant/Associate/Clinical Professor ranks. The successful candidate will contribute to didactic and clinical teaching, student mentoring, assessment, and curriculum development.

The PA Program, housed within CNHP, emphasizes evidence-based, patient-centered education and collaboration across health professions.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant and PA education experience.
• 1+ years of experience as a PA educator or instructor.
• Certified PA with PA education experience and PA licensure eligibility.
• Excellence in classroom and/or clinical teaching.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and health equity.
• Knowledge of ARC-PA accreditation processes and standards.
• Evidence of commitment to student achievement and collaboration across the PA program and institution.

Responsibilities

• Support excellence in PA education across didactic and clinical phases of the program.
• Plan, implement, and improve curricular and programmatic initiatives.
• Develop and revise curriculum to align with ARC-PA and PANCE blueprints.
• Serve as course director and/or co-course director for assigned didactic and clinical courses.
• Deliver engaging lectures, labs, and learning activities.
• Mentor students and advise cohorts on academic progress and career development.
• Engage in scholarly activities, service, and program governance.
