Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Manager, P2P Process & Platform Enablement to lead end-to-end Procure-to-Pay execution enablement across requisitioning, approvals, catalogs, PO creation, receiving and invoicing.

You will own the P2P platform, drive the enablement roadmap, manage changes and releases, and partner with Finance, IT, and Operations to enhance controls, data quality, and user experience in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience supporting and enabling Procure-to-Pay processes and platforms in a business, COE, or product ownership role.
• Hands-on experience defining requirements, UAT, enablement enhancements, and user training.
• Experience with AI, RPA, OCR technologies in P2P contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead P2P process & platform ownership across requisitioning, approvals, catalogs, PO creation, receiving, and invoicing.
• Drive enablement roadmap and backlog for P2P processes and platforms; prioritize by business value and compliance risk.
• Lead change, release, and readiness activities with cross-functional teams to minimize disruption.
• Advance P2P controls, compliance, and audit-ready workflows across the end-to-end process.
• Lead supplier enablement and data quality initiatives for P2P tools and SIM.
• Partner with Procurement Ops, IT, and Finance to ensure stable financial execution and user experience.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Governance and Analytics to define standards, KPIs, and decision-grade insights.
