The City of Mineral Wells is seeking a Senior Parks Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing utility systems across various city facilities. JOB SUMMARY: Under direct supervision of the Parks and Recreation Superintendent, responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of all utility systems of all facilities within the Parks and Recreation Department, Library, Airport, playground equipment, swimming pools and other City owned facilities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, DEGREES, CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSE:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), a valid Texas Drivers License and a good driving record. Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:
Two years of increasingly responsible experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems. Knowledge of chemicals and electrical systems for swimming pools. Ability to read and understand schematics and to know and understand the occupational hazards of this type of work and be able to work safely. Skills in the operation of tools to repair and refurbish existing equipment. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Must possess public relation skills.
MINIMUM STARTING SALARY$19.84Hour
