Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Managing Consultant, Advisors & Consulting Services, Strategy & Transformation to optimize P&L and accelerate client value across card portfolios. The role combines strategy, data analytics, and executive storytelling to deliver actionable recommendations for issuers and payments clients.

You will lead cross-functional teams, synthesize quantitative and qualitative insights, and translate analyses into executive-ready narratives and client-ready deliverables.

Qualifications

• . 12+ years of experience in credit card product performance and profitability modeling across consumer, small business, and commercial segments.
• . Deep understanding of P&L drivers and card issuance value chain across product management, marketing, risk, and operations.
• . Excellent problem-solving capabilities to structure ambiguous problems and lead to actionable recommendations.
• . Strong quantitative, financial, and data analysis skills with attention to detail.
• . Ability to travel to client sites on a semi-regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex client engagements across a range of industries and problem statements.
• Direct the development of strategies and programs leveraging data and technology to unlock client value.
• Interface with client executives across product, finance, marketing, credit risk, loyalty, and operations to drive commercial success.
• Serve as a trusted business advisor and drive Mastercard recommendations.
• Lead end-to-end profitability and business casing engagements for card products, including new launches and portfolio optimization.
• Guide development of client-ready P&L and business case models with documented assumptions and sensitivities.
