Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Engineer - Protection & Control to lead substation projects in the Boston area, with hybrid work options. The role includes creating one-line and relay diagrams, P&C calculations, and coordinating with multi-discipline teams to meet schedules and budgets.

You will mentor junior engineers, review designs for code compliance, and support construction activities on site. A B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE registration (or eligible) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in P&C electrical design.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient electrical design packages for medium/high voltage substations.
• Coordinate design activities to meet schedules, budgets and quality requirements.
• Assist in site visits, estimates and project meetings.
• Provide design activities per applicable codes and AtkinsRéalis procedures.
• Deliver complete substation designs including one- and three-line diagrams, schematics and wiring.
