Job summary

Hydrogen Group seeks a Senior Owner's Engineer to provide technical leadership for gas turbine power generation projects from development through EPC execution, commissioning, and long-term asset optimization.

This owner-side role requires deep expertise in open-cycle/simple-cycle gas turbines, balance-of-plant systems, equipment integration, EPC execution, and OEM management across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in gas turbine power generation, EPC execution, OEM engineering, or owner/operator settings.
• Strong knowledge of open-cycle gas turbines and balance-of-plant systems.
• Experience reviewing PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, and performance calculations.
• Experience managing OEM and EPC contractor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction and SME for gas turbine projects.
• Provide owner-side oversight of turbines and major auxiliaries (fuel, lubrication, hydraulics, intake, exhaust, cooling, emissions, fire protection).
• Ensure designs meet reliability, availability, maintainability, and economics goals.
• Manage interfaces among owner, EPCs, OEMs, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Develop technical requirements, specifications, and boundary conditions.
• Lead design reviews, feasibility studies, and technology assessments.
• Support selection of simple-cycle, combined-cycle, CHP, and emerging configurations.
• Evaluate emissions controls and decarbonization options, including carbon capture readiness and hydrogen blending.
• Oversee commissioning, FATs/SATs, startup, and performance testing.
