• Seven years of relevant experience in public affairs, journalism, or planning.
• Experience managing outreach and public affairs professionals.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Outreach Division staff and oversee public engagement activities.
• Develop and implement public outreach strategies aligned with plan.
• Coordinate with divisions to produce outreach materials and campaigns.
• Oversee Street Smart NJ pedestrian safety outreach and related programs.
• Manage annual work program and Outreach Division budget.
