Job summary

Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC), a prime contractor for the US Department of Energy, is seeking a Manager, Outage Management to be based in Aiken, SC. The role oversees outage planning, scheduling, and execution across Operations, Maintenance, Laboratory, Engineering, Construction, Nuclear Safety, and other site programs.

The position requires leading Outage Coordinators, coordinating with multiple site organizations, and ensuring timely outage startups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in engineering/science with relevant experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred in outages or maintenance.
• Knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines including design and construction.
• Experience in Nuclear Maintenance and Operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organize, schedule, plan, supervise and coordinate all outage work activities.
• Manage planned, emergent and major outages through execution.
• Resolve issues slowing outage planning progress.
• Approve outage scope, plan and changes.
• Ensure documentation is completed for startup.
• Prioritize forced outages when required.
• Maintain relationships with site managers impacted by outages.
• Coordinate outages with other site facilities to minimize total duration.
• Report status to upper management and executives.
