Job summary

Avangrid Power is seeking a Sr. OT System Administrator to design, implement, and support OT infrastructure and related applications. The role focuses on disaster recovery and business continuity, with emphasis on maintaining a reliable, secure environment.

You will manage ESXi clusters, Windows servers for audit compliance, and collaborate with teams to ensure high availability. Prior experience in OT, security, and vendor management is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and support a stable network and server environment.
• Collaborate with application support to enable a solid OT infrastructure.
• Coordinate tasks to ensure business success of the application environment.
• Configure and deploy ESXi clusters.
• Manage Windows Servers per audit requirements.
• Design and maintain information security with focus on regulatory issues (NERC CIP).
• Establish best practices for server stability, patching, backups, testing, and development.
• Manage SAN/NAS storage across devices and protocols.
• Oversee core vendor relationships.
• Work with technical and non-technical staff to ensure resilient, highly available infrastructure.
• Light DBA tasks for SQL environments.
• Adhere to internal controls.
