Origis Energy seeks an Operational Technology Senior Specialist to maintain and secure SCADA and communications for large photovoltaic solar plants, including ROC operations. You will ensure uptime, security, and regulatory compliance while supporting field and ROC teams.

The role is full-time, hybrid in Austin, TX, with occasional travel to sites for commissioning and support. Eligible for comprehensive benefits and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of OT/SCADA or controls support experience in utility-scale solar.
• Familiarity with PV plant SCADA tech and protocols.
• Strong networking and cybersecurity fundamentals.

Responsabilités

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot SCADA, networking, and control systems at utility-scale solar plants.
• Monitor DAS, weather stations, inverters, and plant controllers for reliable telemetry.
• Support ROC/Field team with real-time monitoring, alarms, and shift coordination.
• Assist SCADA Manager with troubleshooting outages and polling anomalies.
• Coordinate with MSSP to maintain OT network security (firewalls, switches, VPNs).
• Administer PACS: user provisioning, alert monitoring, and badge management.
• Assist commissioning and testing of OT infrastructure at new sites.
• Manage OT cybersecurity: patching, password policies, and segmentation per NERC/NIST/IEC.
• Support Compliance with NERC CIP program and audit evidence collection.
• Maintain system documentation and network diagrams.
• Provide OT support for root cause analysis and incident response.
