Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer-Level 3-Operational Technology in Ohio to lead complex projects, collaborate with Business Analysts, and ensure architectural alignment while delivering quality IT solutions.

The role involves analyzing and enhancing existing applications, designing and maintaining modules, providing Tier II support, mentoring teammates, and contributing to documentation and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Information Technology, including software engineering
• Experience with client-server models and modern web-based applications
• Experience with relational databases (MS SQL)
• Experience with .NET development (C#, ASP.Net) and Python
• Experience with requirements/design and with Git/JIRA
• Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, PowerShell)
• Solid understanding of networking
• Experience supporting a production environment

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing applications to identify weaknesses and develop improvements
• Design, develop, maintain, and document software applications or modules
• Review modules for quality, ensure architecture compliance, and perform unit testing
• Provide Tier II application support and troubleshoot issues
• Mentor less experienced team members and provide technical coaching
• Communicate project status to Manager and Business Analysts
• Write product or system development code and participate in design reviews
• Review code for best practices and feedback
• Contribute to documentation and educational content
• Triage and debug issues affecting hardware, network, or service operations
