Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a Senior OT Security Architect to own and govern the Secure Connected Shops OT security architecture across multiple sites. Qualifications

• Proven experience defining OT/ICS security architectures for manufacturing, engineering, research, laboratory, supply-chain, repair, or test environments.
• Hands-on architecture experience for IT/OT network segmentation, zones and conduits, industrial DMZs, secure remote access, firewalls, switching, load balancing, and passive OT monitoring.
• Ability to lead site discovery, current-state assessment, architecture-gap analysis and design reviews.
• Experience developing High-Level and Low-Level designs, BOMs, and architecture standards.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, Purdue-model concepts, Zero Trust, least privilege and defense in depth.
• Knowledge of OT assets and protocols including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, historians and industrial servers.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern the OT security architecture for Secure Connected Shops and related OT network services across assigned sites and delivery towers.
• Lead discovery and assessment of existing IT/OT networks, assets, security controls, connectivity, data flows, and architecture gaps.
• Define target-state OT security architecture and site patterns including segmentation, DMZs, firewalls, and secure remote access.
• Create, review, approve, and maintain HLDs, LLDs, data-flow diagrams, BOMs, and configuration requirements.
• Ensure designs align with customer architectures, cybersecurity policies, ITAR/export-control boundaries, and OT-security practices.
• Provide architecture oversight to network, OT, firewall, cloud, SOC, and site teams throughout build and rollout.
• Review live-environment change proposals for security, safety, and production risks.
• Chair or support architecture/design reviews and document decisions, risks, and dependencies.
• Validate implementations against approved designs via testing and as-built reviews.
• Support incident, vulnerability, and major-change investigations requiring cross-domain leadership.
• Define reusable templates, playbooks, and guardrails for global site consistency.
• Guide operational readiness, knowledge transfer, and handover to operations teams.
• Collaborate with IT/OT, engineering, facilities, governance, and vendors.
• Identify optimization opportunities while preserving resilience and production continuity.
